Nowadays
technology dominates most of our lives and it is practically impossible to live
without it. One of the things that technology provides us with is data,
knowledge is at our fingertips, we can know everything we want about everything,
with just looking for it on the Internet, the problem is that we have also
given that knowledge power about us to all the big companies that govern the
internet.
Examples of
the above are plenty, companies do not seek to obtain our data with a
malevolent purpose, (that we hope) they seek to profit from this data. The
business model, currently on the internet is based purely on selling, and what
better market than knowing what you have to sell and to whom you have to sell
it, that's why every time we enter our search engine we see those wonderful ads
in all their splendor.
Google,
Facebook, Amazon, etc. They are companies that offer their services for free,
they had to make profit of something to sustain themselves, it has to be based
on the ads and this is fine. Selling is fine, the problem is that in in the
process, many times they have been greedy and take advantage of their faculties
to violate our privacy trying to pass articles in an endless contract of
privacy policies that you must accept, because well, you know, if you do not
accept, you stay out.
This today
ends up being our biggest problem with technology, the use that companies give
to our data and that we ourselves have provided. This is the natural evolution
of what we ourselves have established.

I think that with time we are all condemned to share our information, welcome to the 21st century lol
